Almost NOS 1995 Lotus MTB frameset, with mostly 2003 XT kit.

Thanks to CTK for the frameset, Brother for the groupset/wheels, Caramba Kid for the V's, robdem for the skewers, and my mate Keith for the decals!

I reckon it's going to be a belter to ride, this one :)

Get some Lotus Sport decals on, pop some nice V's and levers on and you've got a nice ride there.

Yep - the Tektro's are a cheapie stop gap until I find the matching XT gear.

Still not sure about the decals tho - half tempted going for a more subtle gunmetal grey rather than the neo-yellow which Lotus designed. Then again, it looks stealth whilst decal free. :? :? :?

Good, glad you are upgrading the brakes as it deserves better ;)

Decals are definately required, even as you say if they are more subtle. In my opinion, a bike looks too basic and cheap without them.

I´d go for grey rather than yellow decals to avoid the tacky 90´s eurotrash look.
Yep, definitely:

I reckon something similar to m950/m952 will be about right - maybe even darker.
