I still have fond memories of the 6 wheeled jps f1 car and have always loved the subtle attempts at black and gold, this bike is lovely :D

I'm actually a bit surprised that no-one has commented on that earlier.
Yes, they are threaded the "wrong" way but that's on purpose.
I like them that way.

I would think most people must have noticed them and that this must be the reason your bike did not become BOTY.
