That is indeed an interestin' setup- I thought at first ye were using one of them combined fancy twist shifters 'til i saw the gripshift writing and the thumbshifter.

Ye make me feel rightly guilty for sitting on my arse saying "oooh, its a bit wet outside...." :D

Nice. I too had those exact bars on my '93 Zaskar LE. Seems that us Zaskar riders were ahead of the pack when it came to risers :)

cool bike and very impressive solution to suite your needs. welcome to the forum. you'll love it.

i'm really impressed you ride off road one handed but you ride motorbikes too!! cant decide which must be bigger, your remaining arm or your balls!

Is the longer lever the rear and the short the front
ring finger on the back ,ring and middle for both :?

What about utilizing the xtr shifters ,the ones with only one lever

Or stick to down hill with a rear mech only

Nice bike!

Have you thought about using a hose splitter? Like this: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php ... egory_id=5

That way you could run both brakes from one lever. It'll probably be difficult to set up but once it is it'll make the bike look a bit cleaner.

Welcome.

I am seriously impressed.

I too am curious how you grab the other grip. I keep having the hook vision in my head. I would be thinking of some kind of SPD or something, or am I thinking too much? :?
