picked this up on a 45 quid buy it now. front wheel was cack so i popped on an m730XT/Rigida laser that i have in the garage. swapped out a red and black GT saddle for something less obvious, and the hard plastic grips for some red and black specialised ones i had laying around

needs new pads and cables. frame is tatty but sound, drivetrain components are pretty much all OG and sound. tyres are kenda 1.75 amberwall semis.

i think this may be staying as a pub bike, then again this time next week it may have moved on

it has a few nice touches - original "bike tech bristol" dealer sticker, and all the legal warnings next to the QRs etc. i will probably SS it if i keep hold of it which will mean a change of crank, unless anyone knows how to one-ring these alivios?

You can't single ring that crank, and I believe it may actually have been the subject of a Shimano recall - check the number on the back against the recall list on Shimano's website.

looks like the crank was replaced at the time - it is not stamped mc12 as the ones recalled were
