After playing with a few different setups, this is what I've settled with...

Is it too yellow??????


Frame - 1995 GT RTS-2 7005 aluminum
Fork - 1996 Judy SL with White Bros Springs
Headset - 1 1/8" Dia-Compe Aheadset
Stem - Trans-X Aheadset alloy
Handlebar - Bontrager Titec 170g
Grips - Serfas Ergo Grips
Brakes - XT V Brakes M739
Cantilever cable hangers - NA
Brake Levers/Shifters - Shimano XT M379
Front Derailleur - Shimano Deore XT Compact Drive, top-pull/clamp-on 31.8 mm
Rear Derailleur - Shimano XT M737
Cassette - Shimano 8-speed, 11 - 28 teeth
Chain - Shimano
Cranks - Shimano Deore XT M739
Chainrings - Shimano HyperDrive-C, 22/32/42 teeth
Bottom Bracket - Shimano
Pedals - Shimano SPD 737
Quick Releases - Shimano Deore DX
Rims - Mavic 231 CD
Hubs - Shimano DX
Tyres - Panaracer Fire XC
Saddle - Selle Italia Flite
Seatpost - Alloy micro-adjust, 26.8 mm diameter

The tyres are too much, but otherwise it's an excellent build :)

i think if the seat was more yellow it would balance it out a bit more, as it is the eye is drawn to the tires.

I have toned the red down on mine, and removed the Panaracers as I think it was too much.

Same here, ditch the tyres.

Otherwise, good.
