Project is dead :cry:

Shame I still had the wheel to build with radial spokes on the hope hub and I was looking to lighten up the whole bike, it weights 22lb in current form.

I'd only just put on some white DMR flatties too :(

That's bad luck, especially after you'd made such a nice job of it. But isn't it an injury rather than a death? New top tube £70 from Bob Jackson? Surely worth it for such a good frame.

Yeah, i guess I could get it repaired.

The paint is chipping fairly easily anyway, thats why it hasn't had the decal treatment yet, I was debating getting it powder coated, so this is probably a decider.

Prob still use it on on the road as a runabout for now. I was just really dissapointed as it's not even finished yet :(

are you sure its a crack right through? is it not just the paint (as you say its brittle) and that is a stress point?
