1991 Specialized Rockhopper

Here is a taster pic. I bought this off ebay for £18 and was debating what to do with it. I cleaned it up and polished it with car wax and the orginal finish is so nice I have not got the heart to move it on.

It will be built up over the next month or so with mainly Deore DX.

I'll keep adding pics as the build progresses.

what size is it, Kaiser was saying that spesh have longer top tubes compared to other frames of that era?

nice frame BTW- trying to find a bike that fits.

She's a 20", perfect for me as the top tube length is the same as my Orange, 23".

It was tempting but I always plan to build a bike up SS or as a 'hack' and once the bike arrives I find myself wanting to 'restore' it to former glory!
