Dunno about you, but I love the stage of the new build when most of the parts have finally turned up - sometimes after months of waiting - and you can finally anticipate what the thing will look like.

I've decided to call this moment 'the sketch up phase'....!

Neil

PS. Never got those FSXs!

Those are the brakes....

Well I don't think they're very retro either.

I was just curious to see how a real light brake might work and I remain unconvinced.

Too light, for retro, man, too light!

That looks really cool!

Remember seeing the FSR in one of the American bike show reports and it sported Marinovative brakes so I think the brakes match nicely, didn't Ben Capron who worked for Specialized design the brakes?

Cheers
Stu

Are those Box levers (on the Alibi)?
Try them with mrazeks. I dunno why you are not convinced... stopping power or new school?
I think they work great and They were in production in '98, so not too new...

Nice bike there neil. Not as nice as a 2003 scott full sus though! :) :D (as on cannock chase) :D :D
