RC100 Project started **FINISHED**

I'm gonna keep a little update on the restoration of my RC100 bought from new many years ago from Horswills in Bournemouth.

The bike was last updated in 2000 and since then has been stored at my parents gathering dust.

It needs a fair bit doing to it but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.

My theme is going to be Black and Silver, Possible using some Spin wheels. Not sure yet.

Id restore it to how it was meant to be personally, wouldnt put spin wheels on it,but its your bike, look forward to the updates

Aye if it were me I would steer clear of the spins. Fantastic bike, its good to see another biggy around. Look forward to the progress reports.

(oh and if that RC200 thats fallen down the back of the radiator is looking for a home...let me know)

it's my next project, not sure where to go, but I'm sure no one will want to touch it when they see the pics.

Ahh I think I saw that one pop up on the bay...looks very very sorry for its self, seemed as though some one lost the seat clamp and decided to drill a fixing point straight through the seat tube and post.....madness!

I wish you all the luck with that one!

The cable mounts came off production this morning.

Am going to get the ally ones anodised although i have made a load of delrin one just incase.

The ally ones are a gram heavier than std and the delrin ones are like for like.

Are those cable mounts to replace the crappy push in plastic ones?

Can't quite see how they work - I'd love a set of those though if your making them again?

Cable mount fitted to see how they look

Frame not polished yet but it gives you a good idea how they work.
