Hi all, forgot to say hello.Hope you enjoy the bike.Does anyone know where I can get a 1.8 Panaracer smoke lite rear tyre ?

Great ride, real classic Kona vintage. Looks like it still sees some action as well.
Glad you've decided to change the mech and cranks, they are a tad 'new school'.

For smokes? Posted a wanted here or stw. Otherwise it's the dreaded ebay.

Hi,glad you like the bike.
I`m trying to sort of recreate a Cinder Cone that I from 1993 to 1995,it started out as standard and evolved through various stages ending up speced with RS2`s,USE post,Flite,Quadra`s,SS5`s,ect....
This bike will be different in some ways as some components are far better than they were first time around.
I`ve been through the full suss stage and am about to start redescovering rigid,on my first brief road ride yesterday I realised how much feel and presision i had been missing.
Having not ridden since 2000 and after a long period of illness I,am really looking forward to finding all the old trails that I used to ride on around the Eastbourne end off the South Downs, and if I get really fit then one day I may return to Coed-y-Brenin or Chamonix (TOTALLY AMAZING..)

p.s.Theres a XT 8 speed rear mech on its way to me as we speak....
And a pair of purple compact spider RS2`s would be nice.
