think these are pre elevated cs bikes say late eighties
will have a rummage in me old mags to shed some light but
might be before i got into it did love the eos bikes tho
see (bad) pic in my gallery
gonna do some proper pics sometime soon.

1990..
thats the year shimano ditched mountain lx, & released the 300/400/500 lx groupsets, which the bike has one of.
not sure about the elevated stays, but i vagley remember not all the cro-mega's having them?

early 90,s the cro mega came in elevated and standard.had them both

it is not badged as a cromega it is an alpine lx mtn.xross

I could be wrong but didn't AlpineStar take over/buy out MS Racing around that time (I seem to remember Mike Kloser raced for them) and this looks like one of the first under the AlpineStar brand ..

Maybe someone could confirm or rebuff ...

i have had one since new, bought for my ex wife... bought in 1989, scratched and bruised from baby seat mountings, well used. great bike to lock up in town.

Thats a 1989/90. Looks in absolute A1 condition. I'm more of a estay person, otherwise i'd snap that up.
