Cannot get a clear shot of BB number tonight. So rear drop out & a couple of early pics will have to suffice.
Give you some fun spotting the earlier kit fitted.

Great stem. I love it more each day. Thanks Frank. :D

Basically, what the headtube badge, catalogue scan, and pics tell me, is this is a late- 89, early 90 FRO.

I bet your bike has two Front mech cinch bolts: one on the oval chainstay piece and one on the seattube for the cable roller.

The headtube looks like 1 1/4, which is consistent with the change that year.

Also, the fact the Ultimate appears in the brochure says at least late 89 or early 90.

My 91 had a frame number in the 1700s so yours is certainly not a 91.

Yes & no

Headtube 1 1/4"

Badge as added on scan attached. At the moment its a 1993 ish Yeti sliding on bike I replaced the original with. I have an original one Yeti sent me back in 1991 as back up.

Only one front mech bolt on chainstay. No wheel on back of seat tube.

Purchase date 260490 My mistake sorry. Scanned my writing on original spec sheet. Misread it on my original post. So even older.

Nice scan, I've never seen that build sheet before. Too bad the "Builder" section was left blank, that would have been cool to see.

Also interesting.. the the 4130 stems referred to as "FTW."

April 24, 1990. That means somewhere the same brochure sheet could exist for a C-26. THAT would be cool.

No the build sheet was on the back of the original Yeti B/W 1990 Cat. It was blank. I bought the frame only. I filled in the sheet & revised it as time went on. I can post the full 1990 Cat if its of interest including the C26 stuff.

Thats actually the 89 Brochure. Not sure I've ever seen one from 1990.
