I have finished my single speed project this week and after going for a ride today, I didnt realise how much fun is single speed is. I am very pleased how this project turned out with white frame and forks and gold ano parts around the bike, here is the details and photos and hope you like it:

Frame: 1996 Kona Cindercone 19"
Fork: Project 2 triple butted
Headset: Hope
Stem: BBB
Handlebar: BBB
Grips: foam grips
V-Brake levers: Shimano XT
V-Brakes: Shimano XT
Brake cables: BBB
Chain: KMC
Cranks: Middleburn
Chainring: Middleburn 36T
Cassette: Gusset 18T with Jeri tensioner
Bottom Bracket: Shimano UN54
Pedals: Shimano Deore
Hub Skewers: Halo
Rims: Mavic
Hubs: Shimano XT
Tyres: IRC Notus XC 26 X 1.95
Saddle: Charge Dirt

If it is any consolation, it will be built to look a lot like this. White and gold singlespeed with a few modern black components. I'm not sure if that helps ;)

Wow - that looks excellent - great job!

I'm starting my Kona Singlespeed project in a few weeks and was toying with either Matt Black or White. After seeing these pictures, it's a no-brainer - White all the way!
