Can't keep a good bike down! I believe this frame has been on here before with different builds under previous owners and I've just got it up and running so thought I'd stick pic of it's first commute under me!

Basically I just threw it together from whatever I had lying around plus a couple of cheap new bits just to get it running. Using as a winter work bike, possibly some XC (toying with the idea of Dalby or going for a fun entry in Lightwater valley in a cuople of weeks) but not sure yet.... could be a little small for me but I'll give it a chance.

Parts list:

19" clockwork frame, 1998 and painted at some point by Argos cycles.

Forks: Pace RC36 evo2 had since new and in fine condition.
Headset: Cane Creek S3
Stem: Thompson Elite 120mm (not retro but it was spare)
Bars: Easton Carbon (cut down to a ridiculously twitchy length due to crash damage. Can't decide whether to replace with risers or more flats).
Bar Ends: Tri Pro from about 96 if I remember correctly.
Seatpost: Ringle
Saddle: WTB Rocket V
Brakes: Deore DX V Brakes in original red paint, circa 96/7
Chainset: Middleburn RS7 from 99 or 2000
Front mech: New XT
Rear Mech: New Deore
Shifters 9spd Deore
Wheels: Rear XT hub, Mavic 517 rim little used from '99.
Front Mavic Crossride with very worn rim, needs replacing.
Tyres: Panracer FireXC pro 1.8
Pedals: Speedplay Frogs - only clipless I've ever got on with, but I do seem to rub my shoes on the crankarms a bit..not too happy with that as they are scuff free Up to now!
