Right if anyone wants a squizz at the old girl here she is.
I shipped this from the US as a parts bin or pub bike. I'm assuming a bit of a rarity in the UK? Decals and a few components were tatty, but really it only needed a quick strip down [although if you look carefully you'll see that I spent some care polishing the spoke protector

Definitely to good to break, so pub it is. [the Pub is at the top of the hill, and the fuji's long wheelbase makes for a suitably stable return journey]
Rather heavy, but rides with such a reassuring, comfortable lope that I've found myself using it more often than I thought I would.
Specs:
Frame: Japan built Fuji [Ishiwata] double butted cr-mo. Not bad tapered lugs, and in case anyone thought it wasn't heavy enough, they chromed it before painting.
Fork: Fuji ridgid
Headset: Hatta Swan.
Stem: Nitto
Handlebar: Nitto
Grips: Grabons
Brakes: Suntour XC roller cams
Brake Levers: non-period ebay xc pros until NOS originals turn up.
Shifters: XC power ratchet
Rear Derailleur: currently non period XT as I cleaned the orginal XC into oblivion.
Cassette: Suntour winer 6 spd
Cranks: Sugino AT
Bottom Bracket: Suntour XC
Pedals: Suntour XC compe
Rims: RM 20 SHA
Hubs: SUntour XC
Tyres: Mitsubishi monster heavies
Tubes: Probably
