Gian ATX990 rebuild

Devout Dirtbag
So having got the frame of Once a Hero i threw it together and got out riding it, we have blown the seals on a pair of z1 bams and tried 2 other sets of forks to see what is going to stay in the bike and on the last ride developed squeaky bushes so the time has come to do it properly. The frame is , bruised and scraped but i like its charm so there is no paint job going on.here is a pic of it as it is now

ill update this as i get on with it.

Decisions decisions ..... what a first world problem/dilemma to have

Has to be the Giant surely

Re:

I am afraid the GT got my attention first, purely because it was an easy one to build. I robbed a few bits of the Giant and pilfered the rest out of the shed of doom.

It got built in an afternoon and is now being used. The Giant is now a work in progress and ill update as i get on with it

Looks great- but the Giant would have looked ever better’er

Patience patience the giant is next on the hit list. I have got to sort some bits out but it wont be long. It is a great bike to ride and i am keen to get it back up and running

Re:

So i have finally got round to having a look at the Giant. Had some time the other day and striped, cleaned and reassembled the bushes they were all dry and really could do with replacing, but i doubt ill find any new ones. The decision now is should i build it as i would of done 20 years ago or add a modern twist to it.
