Hi all. Here's my raleigh yukon.
I have no idea on the age of the bike, so if anyone can at least hint to its age, that would be great.
Anyone know any history on them?
Also, i need a new bb for it. I would like a sealed, square taper but i dont know what size i'd need, if anyone knows?
Im chuffed with the bike. I love the retro colour scheme and it'll fit in well with my other British bikes.

(I have a newer pic but cant upload due to size, but the yukon now has black and red pannaracer tyres, and its alot cleaner)

nice. I'd forgotten what they look like. It's been so long. i'd say 1991/2
 
Brilliant thanks. I haven't a clue how to date raleigh ATBs or MTBs by serial number?
But 91/2 is good for me :)
 
If the shifter levers are a rounded finish, 92-93, they are quite squared off, 1990-91 but I seem to remember these being for the 1992 model year

Wheels were originally black Alesa rims

BB probably just needs a clean and regrease but if you manage to get it out you'll need a 68x122 or a 68x125mm bb

Ill take a look at the shifter levers to see.
I wonder if I'd ever be able to source some original wheels for it...
The bb was the old type- spindle and cups. I tried and tried to regrease and reinstall but i think the cups needed new bearings. If i can, i'd like to replace with sealed bb.
