I'd say it was fairly retro, but for the love of god learn where your gears should and should not be! So as you don't bend the hanger, snap the rear mech and wear out the chain!

Ha! To be fair its the first time I've ridden it in 8 years after finding it in the shed and sorting it out as my commuter. I'm a roadie first and foremost, never snapped a mech in 4 years of racing!! Take your point though!
