Hi all.
Picked this frameset up last year for something like £12 on ebay, so thought it would be rude not to use up some spare parts and build something I can whizz to morrisons on for a loaf of bread.
Typically ended up having to buy 2 chainrings and rear sprockets of differing sizes before I found that a 34t front and 20t rear works ok, also had to buy a BB but luckily XT ones were on offer at the time for £13!
It's not finished yet, I need to re-grease the headset and tighten the cones on the back wheel. Brakes need setting up. Pedals need a re-build. Single speed tensioner probably needs some fettling. But generally it gets you there.
It's far too small for me so I need a high-rise stem. Or maybe some BMX bars.
