I wouldn’t dare use the bloody thing... absolutely top job Neil.

Being from the north east too and being a regular at Bike Scene over the years I also agree with how good a bunch they are.

Love this build! :D

Contender for bike of the month I recon ....

Wow, really beautiful bike, and a great read.

The front arms are longer and have longer holes in them, the rears being shorter for clearance, it looks like they are both rears.

Who did the paint in the end...?, and can i ask did they also supply the Reynolds 653 all terrain decals too....?

Thanks man. Argos Racing Cycles did the paint and supplied the Reynolds sticker. I cannot praise them highly enough, they went above and beyond - see how the purple is heavier around the seat cluster, the way it catches the brake cable stop and the way it's lighter on the downtube? That's all from my description and the original photos! They've surpassed my expectations.
