1989 Mantis Valkyrie

I had this one since august but haven't had the parts yet to complete it.

Originally bought by Mark Bolish (Nuke Proof) in 1989. S/N VK 2011, and raced in Moab and Boulder in the 1990 WC. Might be THE bike for me as I really love the quirkiness and the experimental form-follows-function style of it. Maybe I want a X-frame even more, not sure

He sent me some pictures of it that showed the different iterations, and the bike have had some different colors. All painted by Mark himself. The current blue/purple is also painted by Mark, but I recently painted the fork crown black and changed the decals from white to black.

Personally, I prefer the white decals, but that's me. It's still lovely with the black ones.

It’s a beauty, but then every bike you build is! Where do you find all the awesome parts? I am not so lucky in my searches in the UK.
