Completed the SS project today, picture's below! Not had a chance to have a good ride yet but it is very light and after spending ages to get the chain length right without it slipping I now have a creaky handle bar to sort tomorrow. Anyway let me know what you think and if I like this SS malarchy then my 95 Kilauea may well become available!

You did a great job on it, very nice, only thing I would change is put smaller tyres on it. nice one :)

Good point Guybe, if I get on with it it may get some semi slicks for a superfast commute anyway!

i like the tyres they complement the rest as a contrast ...keep em on .......must try this on a full suspension bike the whole ss thing...

Now as a super light commuter with semi slicks and some new LX v brakes (linkages had gone in the M739s). May get a different gear ratio as yet as 34/16 is too small on the flats although I have a big hill to tackle every commute!
