Ibis Alibi sees daylight....

After a summer of waiting for essential components to materialise, the Ibis Alibi frameset finally comes out of the cellar for that exciting initial trundle up the street! :D

Looking for a US-specific 'non-bling' build, so the Goldtec/Hope hubs are very temporary - need some obscure green hubs really - as are the v-brakes. The alleged NOS Syncros post had mysteriously been pre-threaded (thanks mate!) on one of the brass adjusters, but the Betsy stuff works nicely.

Not sure of the future of the bike though. Now the Ballistic has a 'welded-in' seat post, it's logical role is as my XC racer. The trouble with fixing on so much NOS stuff is that it hurts to go and get it scarred!

Neil,

looks a treat. Bikes are meant to be ridden. Something like that shouldn't be a garage queen :D

Wooahh that is VERY nice. a little different as well.

What rings are those? was it egg that used to do those drilled rings?
