Oops sorry for the typo, it is a 1993 model (as writen in my signature) and does have it's original if slightly careworn factory paint- although I know bugger all about Kleins, I'd guess that a factory painted sea and sky MC1 Attitude is a rare beast indeed. I have only seen one other S&S in the flesh before and this one has much more purple on it- that said due to the process of applying custom paint I guess no two are the same- it makes repainting difficult as everyone will have a different opinion on wether it has been done right, matching the original look.
The frame referb will be done exactly as is with the later decals. I do need to know who made the original paint before I can start- I have the names of the colours used but this is worthless without the manufacturers name. Do you know Carsten??

that's DuPont Imron Durethane iirc. But the original paint is not on the market anymore for environmental reasons.

Thanks for the help on the paint guys, unfortunately due to a breakthrough deal on the house front I now need to free up some funds which means all my toys have to go (apart from the Alfa, the SAB and the RC100)
Not good for the bike collection but a great home for us to bring the kids up in.
I have posted it up in the for sale section if anyone wants to take it on.
