Been on the lookout for a Kili like this for a while now and finally found one in a size that suits me. Ideally it would have been the 853 Kili Comp but I'm pretty chuffed with this Tange Prestige Concept version. You may have seen it on eBay for a while now but the price just wasn't right, so I got haggling. I love the rear wishbone and general skinny lines it has. Now...the question is....would it be acceptable to put older XTM735/XTRM900 parts on it? I can overcome the lack on canti stops no problem so gets a yes from me! Theres no way I would build it up to factory spec as it was a mixture of STX RC and LX (I ******* hate STX and LX M563) so its this or??? It will be a keeper and a rider

Re:

Glad you got it dude, been watching it for a while but initial price was too rich for me. Personally I'd go xt xtr mix with whatever you like haha forms are exquisite!!!!

Re:

What a great looking frame, if I didn't know better I'd say it had come from a bespoke builder. What were Saracen thinking of when they went downmarket?

Looking forward to the build pics.

Inspire me, I have exactly he same frame (be it without forks) waiting on my cellar. :)
Not sure this is going to be an inspirational build! Im now thinking plain old xt m730/2/5, Ritchey Vantage Comp rims, flite saddle and some tasty amberwalls( need a pair by the way)

I wouldn't put M730 on a bike you intend to ride. :)

I am thinking of putting a modernish groupset on the Saracen (SLX 10 speed) as I love the comfort and performance of post-7 speed groupsets. I started mountainbiking in 1991 and don't have good memories on how older 7 speed groupsets were performing in winter circomstances...

M730/2/5 have never...and I mean never let me down. If maintained its bombproof
