Last March I bought one of my dream bikes. It is a 1995 GT Zaskar LE. It's a true survivor. It's never been restored and it's in really good shape. It has all original XTR M900 parts with the exception of the rear derailleur which is XTR M953. It even has the original brake pads that are now nearly 23 years old. I don't ride this bike because I don't think it's safe with those old brakes and because I don't want to damage anything. Well I've been wanting to ride something from this era and I found this 1995 Tequesta that has also never been restored and is completely original. No one cares if I destroy a Tequesta so I'm making this my retro ride.
Here is the before:
Notice It has the original Tioga Psycho skinwalls. They aren't worth riding on but they hold air and were also original to the Zaskar so that's where they're going.
Here is the after. I can't wait to get this on the trail.
