GT RAVE 1998 rebuilt as single speed

Retro Newbie
Here's my sixth bike built from scratch (a skip), this lovely 1998 GT Rave road bike has a Campag Athena crank, Normandy hubs (from 1975), and flip flop 16/19t cogs, red repaint job saving the decals, and a few other spare bits. Good city spinner, although it could do with a 42/40 double i reckon, instead of the 39/52.

yep, i'm over spinning on it at the moment, but great in the mud and down the towpath - one blast of the hose and its clean again. very comfortable ride actually with the bull bars. cheers love your RTS too.

watch out for my SPEEDWELL Titanium 1975 which is almost finished with complete Campagnolo Nuovo set. Going to ride it in next years Eroica! will post pic imminently.
