I usually go for er, quite bright builds with lots of colour.

This time though, its going to be dark and moody.

This is going to be a resto mod, as i will use this as my main bike rideability will come first. I am still deliberating some spec choices, so far I have settled on the following...

McMahon Ti frame, freshly blasted, now with a very light polish.
XTR M970 Chainset, mechs, shifters (grey and silver)
XTR M950 Hubs/skewers (grey)
XTR M900 Cantis (silver)

It will have a few dashes of colour, but these are the parts i'm still mulling over. (think purple and gold ano)

Photos soon, Photobucket is not working again!

Re:

Actually, 'dark and moody' might be quite apropos to our times ... as the world seems to be careening into some very moody and shadowed corners ...

Re: Dark and moody Ti project.

Here is one to start. Hopefully this will progress a bit quicker than most of my projects...

Re: Dark and moody Ti project.

Hi, I'd be interested in the seat clamp if you're not keeping it.
Cheers rich

Re: Dark and moody Ti project.

More awesome turned up!

So now I have to think about how to attach the rims to the hubs. Ti spokes? or stainless. Brass nipples? I'm off to google nipples to see what's recommended

Re: Dark and moody Ti project.

Very nice Project! Wonder if you would have more use of some 950 V's instead m900 cantis?
