Short build thread and spec. of my 1995 DBR Axis TT - drop bar conversion.

Hand blended with some very retro and some not retro parts.

Specification:
Frame: 1995 Diamond Back Axis TT
- 1995 or possibly 1994; snake chain stays and rear brake cable mounting on the NDS.
- The original canti-stop was removed by me for another project. Say what you will about that :LOL:
- Tektro 31.8mm seat-clamp rear cable guide

Forks: 1 1/8" threadless Spinner Cro-Mo Triple Butted.
- These are race versions with no mudguard eyelits
- Tektro fork cable up-hanger

Headset: Cane Creek S2 with Cane Creek S6 bearing races
Stem: System EX high rise
Handle bars: Deda RHM-01 46cm wide

Seat-post: Easton EA50 27.0mm
Saddle: Rolls Titanio with aluminium back plate.

Brifters: Tiagra ST-4600 2 x 10 speed

Brakes: LX BR-M565
Brake pads: Ashima cartridge

Front mech: LX FD-M565 with modified cable routing
Rear mech: 105 RD-5501 with modified cable routing
Chain: HG73 9 speed

Cranks: Middleburn RS7 w/ Dual Spider, 32T Middleburn & 42T Blackspire rings
Bottom bracket: XT UN72 107mm

Pedals: XT PD-M770

Rims: Wolber AT18 36h
Hubs: XTR M900 36h
Front tyre: Panaracer Dart 2.1"
Rear tyre: Panaracer Smoke 2.1"
Inner tubes: Schwalbe AV14
Skewers: Halo XL
Cassette: SRAM PG950 12-26 9 speed

Tonic holder: Original Minora Pet

Total build weight: 10.5 Kg.

Ohhh nice. Loving the stealthy look.

Not often you see black middleburns.

where did you get the Stem? It was my biggest bane on my Drop Bar pace build in my sig.

That'll be a '94 with that frame decal.

Cool. You don't happen to have a catalogue scan or something? Realised I made a mistake too
in the description, it's the seat stays that have the curve, the chain stays are straight.
