I bought this frame a while ago and have taken a while to build it up but with a meet up at haldon forest planned it spurred me to finish it. It was a blast around there yesterday and handled quite well. I fitted mostly Shimano DX, but the wheels are LX with M231 rims. I also had a ti flexistem and h/bars lying around.

Very Cool !!
Got the same bike but in small size…
One of the first rear suspension MTB with Cannnondale EST and Boulder.
The aluminium frame is quite brittle, as 7005 alloy…
A cool bike for riding, with same feeling as hardballs or softails. Nice climber but the short travel suspension without damping if Rock'n Roll in downhill :D

8) - I like that. I've got an 862 that I haven't quite finished yet. I look forward to seeing yours next month!
