Been here for a while so I thought I'd post some 'proper' pics of my bikes. A couple of pics have appeared on some other threads but I thoguht I would get them together

My Pace (garage queen at the moment; just can't find the time to justify riding the thing properly)

Pics and spec of my 'flex as soon as it is done.....

The Pace is yummy!

How do you find the XC4s? I have a set on my Sub 5 and they just aren't cutting it! I'm switching back to C2s as soon as I can!

Boootiful, nice theme(?) going on there. That mango headset really steps up the pace

The XC4s get a bit hot and 'soft' towards the end of a longish downhill section but the "on the fly" adjustment helps a bit with that. Pad wear is a problem but I seem to keep finding pads going cheap in various shops. Perhaps that's because everyone is changing to C2s..... ;)

It's important to keep the rotors very clean as well; any contamination can really foul things up and make the heat build up even more.

Also the bike is so light (never weighed it but it's lighter than most things I've come across) that it tends to come to a stop pretty quickly. Sometimes a bit too quickly for my poor handling skills....

If I had the inclination I'd try something different but being a bit of an old plodder I can make do with these.
