I was very fortunate to pick this up recently. It's a very early Salsa Scoboni, serial number #SM008, which I believe makes it from 1982. The frame has been repainted (previously black) due to significant wear by Bryan Bayliss.

The bike was featured in a magazine, the late Bicycle Guide and the article was about the (infamous) Crested Butte Pearl Pass Tour to Aspen. If anybody has a copy of this article, please do let me know.

This is going to be a very slow project and I'm in no hurry.
