I bought this bike to do up for commuting but couldn't find out much about "Quantum" bikes - what I do know is that its French - I bought it from a local farmer who was given it by a French lad who worked for him for two years back in 95, the lad was the son of a senior French BP exec who received the bike as a gift? The lad was in the UK in order to avoid doing his national service! Cheese eating surrender monkey indeed. Spec is Alloy frame SRAM 400 shifters, Mavic 236 rims, Shimano STX -RC crank set - 24 speed, Zokes pro carbon front shocks. Anyone come across these Quantum French bikes?
