Until this month I've been unable to ride for 7 months following a knee injury and have spent the time sorting out the bike shed and I finally got around to building this 89 bike using parts I had lying around - Exage 400LX gears, 500LX shifters, Deore LX chain set, DX brakes, Alesa 421 alloy rims, Tioga tyres and Saracen bars. Been for a quick ride and it rides really well.
I know the powdercoat scheme will not be to everyone's taste but I've always liked black & white bikes, and the previous original finish was beyond saving, and it didn't cost me much.
I won't be keeping it as I have too many bikes and it's a bit on the small side for me, so it will soon be on the for sale forum.
