96 KONA KULA build, need opinions please

Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm cobbling together a budget build and thought I'd ask the collective biker braintrust's esteemed opinion. I'm looking to build a commuter to get to and from work, with some light trail riding here and there. I'd like to be as vintage as possible, but won't ignore advancements in tech.

So as stated its a '96 Kula. Its got XT 3x8 shifters, derailleurs and cranks. Red Magura HS 33's currently mounted to Club Roost Go fast bars.

I've been collecting parts and sourced a NOS Syncros Hinged stem along with other parts. I have also just acquired a Profile Fiber RS riser bar, so I'm deciding if I should go club roost or Profile. And currently it has the pictured Manitou SX forks, but I've also got a set of 2001 Marzocchi Z4's and another Rock Shox Duke XC.

So it comes down to:

Club Roost Go Fast vs Profile Fiber RS riser

and

'98 Manitou SX vs '01 Marzocchi Z4 vs Rock Shox Duke XC

Any opinions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading, cheers!
