1984 Fat Chance TIG

Hello everybody

Realised I've not put up a thread on this old girl nearly a year after she was put back together.

It's a 1984 Fat Chance TIG.

I bought this complete from the states and had it shipped over.

It had been hung in a bike shop for years apparently.

Certainly seems very complete and original...

That is mountain bike history. I started mountain biking in Colorado in 1982 so this bike really brings back some great memories.

Re:

Cheers all.

Cost/value is subjective in all this retro stuff but digging back through my emails I paid £515 shipped from the states.

I was very happy with the price but I don't think it'll ever be worth much more than that.

Not that I care mind, it rides lovely and will be with me for a long while.

There is a nice Wicked on eBay that hasn't even shifted at £300...

Re:

Out and about in Norfolk at the weekend.

Not the most inspiring shot as the sea was only 40m in the other direction...
