Taken me a while to get one of these (not including the wee one I bagged for the bread knife)

Required a trip to a beautiful village in Scotland to collect it, so a nice Easter trip for the family.

Had to strip it to fit it in the car, here are some pics

Couldn't get the stem out with my travel tool kit so will try again back at base

Rear mech cable stop on head tube is fubared

Paint is bad

Hope bbt bracket shifts
 
Nice overburys sticker on the seat tube

Seat post shifted nay bother

Nice overburys decal on the mavic rims


Think the itm stem and bars are original, as is the m730 it's built with

Sadly not, but now it's been raised maybe get them both re sprayed In the same colour! not

Plan is,

Get stem and bottom bracket out

Get decals

Send it off to be refinished, and get the cable stop fixed

Undecided where, and colour. But I think it will be a single colour only

Clean bits that came off it, reuse what I can, source the odd bit of m730 I might need

Rebuild


Wheels and saddle are open. Original saddle is a leather Madison, too far gone to rescue, so need a replacement

Wheels, not on great condition and spokes are not shiney

I have a nos set of mavics I could go with, that are nice, but I lose the ob sticker on the rims doing that!
