Purple GT RTS-3

Hi Guys

just picked up this RTS-3 front end and I am trying to place the year.

my guess is a 94 or 95 but a couple of things have me questioning this, for one the frame is marked as '7000 aluminum', but this colour is not listed on bikepedia, any help would be appreciated.

Strange one as it looks like a 1994 from the archive but non that year had that tubing. Best guess would be 1995?

that's definately the colour they were sold here in Australia. they had a silver cro mo rear triangle, STX groupset and a quadra fork

thanks guys, the image below is from flickr and its posted as a 1995. I have a lead on a couple of rear ends and also have a NOS rear shock. Will then port over XTR from by cracked Zaszker LE and it should be good to go. One question, am I right in assuming that all the front ends were the same on the RTS 1, 2 and 3's with the exception of the made in the usa versions?

The RTS team and Rts-1 were both usa made 6061 heat treated aluminium.

The rts2/3/4 were made in the Far East from 7000 series aluminium.

Geometry all the same just different grades of aluminium used when made.
