OK TIME FOR ANOTHER INSTALLMENT FROM MY COLLECTION, CALLING ALL YOU OLD SCHOOL MTB TANDEM OWNERS, STEP UP TO THE PLATE, AND BEAR IN MIND THIS BIKE BEAT OLD SCHOOL MTB PRO BUFF "CHIPS CHIPPENDALE" AND HIS MATES IN A DOWNHILL RACE IN A QUARRY IN WALES, MID NINETIES PILOTED BY MY SON AND HIS MATE (BOTH 14 YRS OLD) LOL THE EVNT WAS CALLE DTANDEMANIA AND THE DOUBLE V BRAKE SET UP EVEN GOT A FEATURE IN MTB PRO!! PRETTY COOL NAH?

TO ACOMPANY THIS I'VE GOT MY MATCHING TEAM AVALANCHE, THIS WAS MY FIRST VENTURE INTO THE MTB WORLD (MID LIFE CRISIS) I'VE JUST RECENTLY SOURCED THE ORIGINAL COMPONENTS AND REBUILT IT MINUS THE CRAPPY U BRAKE THOUGH, TOO MUCH CLOGGING MEANT THAT WENT IN '92 LOL

Didn't they do a 700c tandem also?

Lee U brakes are good but add MUD :evil:

John They did use a odd size wheel 700d but by fitting the pace forks, and having new bosses braised on the stays it meant we could run the 26" 40 hole sun rynho rims :wink:

the double brake at the front ist just tooooo nice. i wish we had this too back in the days :)

and my '97 psyclone - my actual forest-bike ;)
