Seeing the other specialized FRS builds I thought I would do a quick build of the one I have had in storage for a while.
I will not be keeping this, it is on my cut list to find a new owner, but I decided I need to know how it rides so have started to put it together.
The spec is "almost" as per the model featured in the Specialized book:25yrs of mountain bikes.
but I have changed a couple of components as things like the grey umma gumma grips I have and the NOS gripshift I cant bring myself to fit only to remove again.
At the moment it has a make shift headset fitted.
Anyway, some pictures for you to look at.
