Well it was a wreck. Two huge cracks in the rear stay, seized bottle bosses and pretty much every component left to rot. It was a disgrace I hope the previous owner doesn't have a puppy.

The cracks are welded, bosses changed and every component stripped and cleaned. Its an everyday ride so I didn't stick to period but other than the crank set and stem its pretty original.

Nice to see that it's back on the road again.
I remember commenting on the rear dropouts on this one.
Never seen that particular feature on the VIT t before.
Wondered if this is one of the sandvik designed t's

Hi Emjay, got myself a Orange Aluminium Elite 1992 frame, as you recommend them, looking forward to building it up, will probably go for xt xtr a highend groupo as well. Since we last spoke I purchased myself a mint Orange dynamo frame and forks and original Orange stik seatpost and another Orange velo saddles came with it, the frame has the beautiful flo Orange coloured squared graphics just like your alloy elite, hardly a mark or scratch on the frame or forks absolutely perfect condition, really pleased. Although your elite is probably currently my favourite bike mtb at the moment in terms of aesthetics.
