GT Avalanche - early 90's

Hello everyone!
This is the first time I write in this section (I posted some good old road-racing bike), also because this is the first good quality vintage MTB I possess.

The bike is an avalanche of early 90s. (possible 92-93??)
I think it is all original except for the pedals.

Many components are marked "GT" and never been replaced such as the saddle and grips.
The group is a mix of Shimano Deore XT and DX.
(if it helps I can make a detailed list of the components)

The frame is made of Cr-Mo steel double butted tubing.

The bike overall is very light! in particular the front.

I tried it for a few miles and I am very satisfied, it works great and you will feel a great quality!

(I'm used to using for years alluminium 29 "front bike ... of course the difference is significant and can be a cause of my astonishment)

I was also impressed by the high quality construction of the chassis that is full of interesting details, such as switching cables in the tube and the invoice of the stem, but other details ...

What do you think? There seems completely original? dating is correct?

Thank you all and I am happy to share on the forum!
