Thought you might like to see a pic of my old Mongoose Iboc Zero G SX.
Don’t see many about and the frame was really well made
Sold it to a young lady in York and often wonder if its still going strong, was her first proper bike and I’m sure it got her off on the right foot

Judy SL's were doing the frontal business.

Mongoose made some nice Ti frames as well as some Carbon ones too.

Not sure is the honest answer, sounds interesting though.

Would like one of their Ti frames, US built and can remember seeing the ads in MBA.

didnt mongoose's have triangular top tubes at one point?

Yup and downtubes too....

( they were more pear shaped to be honest)

I raced Mongoose bikes for a few years and loved them.

Have still got a couple now actually...

I had an IBOC Comp many years ago, nicely finished frame with bonded tubes  iirc it had quite a high BB but still rode nicely..

It did have a high bb, and rode way better than my old zaskar :)

Yes, I remember it being very comfotable for an aluminium frame........I quite miss it sometimes as it had superb mud clearance at the back end, a vital quality around these parts some days

Yup, carbon ones too.

My first custom build, a 92 Pro SX. Sx meaning suspension corrected geometry, carbon fibre main triangle bonded to aluminium lugs and an Aluminium rear end wrought from a single tube Yeti style. Only problem is poor paint on that rear end, top coat does not adhere to the primer and I saw quite a few with similar issues.

This bike was the subject of my first post on retrobike. And here it is:
