Okay so this was my very first retro and has had a few owners so far, bought off Chrisv40 who bought it from Trebz who bought it off.....and so on!
Very nice bike that i currently have set up on semi slick tyres and is mainly used now as a bit of a tourer, in all honesty my ongoing retro buys are getting lighter and lighter to the point where this actually feels very heavy to pedal :LOL: so an excelent training bike :)

Oh how I miss those hot sunny days with random phonecalls that go "fancy a few miles" "yep" "I'll be round in ten"!!

Nice, but it's from 1991.

I own a 550 and a RF-1 from the same year.

All models whose number ends by 0 are from 1991 (550, 750, 950 and RF-1). There was another model made of True Temper steel which was the end top of the range and had another name i can't remember now (american something).

I had the scanned pics from the catalogue somewhere but i cannot find them now.

They're on the forum and he has the link. Wouldn't mind some good catalogue scans of the offroad/proflex series of the early 90s.


It always 1 year after the last digit with proflex model years.
