Only had this a couple of weeks. Came with Marzocchi Z4s plus spare Project 2s, a spare big ring, spare Kona inline seatpost and a new pair of tyres!

Have now fitted threadless P2s and will be trying to get the Flite repaired.

May need to get a different stem and bars but for now it seems pretty nice.

Cheers

I'm only 6'2"! But I do seem to have long legs, my road bikes are like gates and I usually need a long seatpost as well.

The one in the photo may need to come down half an inch but not much more. It's a shame that the original Kona post is not long enough.

Thanks for the comment about the bike, I'm pretty pleased with it but will ride it for the first time tomorrow and report back.

Cheers

I was told that they are Control Tech v's although they have no logos or other markings on them. I also couldn't find any details on them.

Perhaps I'll post a photo later as if they aren't Control Tech I'd like to know what they are as well!

Thanks for the links to the brakes although couldn't see the ones fitted on the Kona.

A close up photo may help - any ideas anyone?

(Note: I'll also stick this query in 'Retro Chat' to see if anyone has any ideas).

Off to ride the beast now, will report back later.
