He's gonna let me know if and when he finds them. If not, I'll be searching the net for a pair. What's the general feeling about putting a Girvin Flexstem on ther? I've been given one, but I think it may spoil the originality of the bike

Mid 90s bikes seem to have got to that very simple look - understated colours, frames lightened a bit from the early 90s.
