Fair comment. My other thought was to get some 987's. Campag would be nice but don't really have the budget.

I think they would be fine, you can always change then if something better turns up

I think that's probably what I'll do Nick. Got plenty of other things to spend my money on!

Had a cheeky day off today so made a little progress. Cleaned up the wheels, Mavic MA 40 MB rims laced to XT hubs, and fitted the 1.5" Hardpacks I've had stashed away for such a build. Got a nice pair of non-aero 105 levers from THM so got them on the bars. Starting to come together now and I'm pretty pleased with it thus far.

I remember putting the continentals on the Lloyd, what a nightmare....took me about two days I think :?
