Well I had a nice suprise in the post today :) its as shiny as a shiny polished shiny thing :D bloody typical though,l I'm away working this week so won't be able to start building :evil:

very jealous, have the exact frame in the shed but aint looking like that one!
 
Cheers both :) started building it up but haven't had much time as you can see :D its going to be mostly XT with a splash of XTR and XC pro :)

Superb, as ever. Amazing how new it looks for a 14 year old frame, I don't know how you do it, nothing I buy is ever better than expected! And the orange relief colour on the stem and forks looks almost as though it was specifically designed for that frame colour, although I'm sure it wasn't.

That's going to look great when it's finished.
 
Slight change of plan with the build, I quite like the XC pro chainset and the Pace rings go nicely with a few other bits that are going on, plus I get to use the lovely XC pro front mech :roll:

What do you reckon :?:

How about a short cage rear mech? Makes the chainrings look even bigger, and looks way more retro than a long cage, IMHO! :D

Who cares if you can't use all the gears....... :LOL: :LOL:
