Sooo... just got back from a 10 hour round trip... well... more like 12 in total...

Toronto to Ottawa to Toronto... left home at 6am, pulled back in the driveway at 6pm... Would have been home sooner if I didn't make all those stops for snacks... Mmmmm Burger King and McDonalds twice... normally I stay away from fast food but on these long drives to pick up bikes a guy gets hungry! ;)

Here's an ultra closeup... was it worth the drive? you tell me ;)

Lets see if you can guess... no cheating :D

.

Re:

yes, stem is a very nice touch. as is the internal cable routing
and the fillet brazed fork. anyone can have a gatorblade.
but the brazed forks and stems are pretty rare. and in some
circles more desireable than gator's. just an opinion. ;)

Re: 10 hours of driving... Was it worth it??....

True! I have three 1" gator blades... Long story... But the Romax will not be getting one as this fork is way cooler!

It's actually my size... I'm 6'. The seat tube is 21" and virtual top tube is 22.5. Compared to my mid-90's Rockies it has an extra 1.5" on the seat tube (no biggie due to the slope) and 22.5 top tube is shorter then all my mid 90's ones

Mose of mine are big (my 92 blizzard, 92 vertex, 87 fat city flyer and 88 avalanche are all 21-22") and the others are all 19.5"

I'm not super tall but come from riding big road bikes so I ride much better on a big frame
