Looks more like my 98 but the rear end is wrong and the wrong colour. Has discs as well?

Ah so a half and half then with modern 'hotrod' parts on.
Looks like it might actually work
(only <=1997 being the front triangle ?>
My 98 frame is just stuck in the loft doing nothing no inspiration for it and the shock is the original Vanilla R, just cannot justify the 100 quid+ a new decent shock cost. I'd modernise it if building as it's all modern stuff to me.

Marin replaced a lot of the original swing arms under warranty as they had cracked. My replacement was a big red one with a (non standard) disc mount.
